Based on a story I wrote a long time ago. Serwen is a young woman who taunts the Goddess of the Moon, Aeolle. Aeolle challenges Serwen to three tasks, which she fails. As punishment, Aeolle traps Serwen in the Underworld. Serwen repents, and Aeolle eases her punishment, allowing Serwen to return to the Overworld for three months a year, but her beauty shall be stripped from her and woven into each spring, and everything she touches would wither and die, and her tears would cover the world in a frozen blanket. The name Serwen was taken from her, and she was given another, 'Dolina'.

In this image, Dolina walks through the frozen landscape that she created, the longing for summer signified by the blazing bird that is coming to light on her hand. But through her curse, she cannot touch it, for the fire in the bird's wings will turn to ice. But she can, for a moment, feel the warmth of summer once again. Around her neck she bears the symbol of the moon, another reminder of Aeolle's curse.
